China 1997

Photographs from a 1997 trip to China by Gil and Judith Nicholls. We saw the Yangtze and its fabled Three Gorges before the Three Gorges Dam was finished and the Yangtze valley inundated. We saw the Lesser Three Gorges when they weren't inundated. We saw Fengdu before they moved it to higher ground. And of course the banks of the Yangtze as it has been for hundreds of years...
