Mary Bushnell

Mary Bushnell Garner Hughes was the daughter of Charles Bushnell, Gent. (Stafford Co., VA).(Mary inherited 300 acres from her father Charles Bushnell.)
Mary's first husband was Thomas Garner, born in Northumberland County, Virginia c. 1668-69, son of John and Susanna Keene Garner. Thomas Garner died in 1726.
Mary and Thomas had seven children:
John Garner, Thomas Garner, Vincent Garner, Parish Garner, Charles Garner, James Garner and Susanna Garner, (married Thomas Seddon).
Mary's second husband was Ralph Hughes (of Northumberland County, Va). They were married before 1732. They lived in Stafford County, present day Fauquier County, about five miles below present day Warrenton, County, VA.
Mary and Ralph appear to have had 3, possibly 4 children.
On August 12, 1746, Ralph and Mary of then Prince William county sold "all stock, furniture, goods, and chattels". They are believed to have moved to Frederick County, Virginia. A Ralph Hughes died in Frederick County in 1767.
