Death	about 1772	In Halifax County, Virginia, British America. I don't see this proof of death as being definitively this Benjamin Hubbard. Lynchburg is in Halifax County -- do we know where he lived from any other source? His wife remarried in 1742 to Samuel Andrews and left a will naming some of her Hubbard children. I also see a death date of 1717 but still Halifax County, which I doubt. That also would not work with four of the children we have assigned to him, including our Candace. DNA says our Candace is related to siblings assigned to Benjamin Hubbard. Plus DNA says we are related to siblings OF Benjamin Hubbard and hence descended from him. Of course Candace's birth date could well be wrong.^5,6
