Misc | | DNA Matches - 1 good. 6/23/2024 Scott's DNA on Dessie 1 match to Joseph Sebastian. Wife called Elizabeth parker.
Judy doesn't have any matches except to our Isaac Stephen |
Immigration | 1675 | Maryland, British America. His father's record.1 |
Residence | September 1689 | In Stafford County, Virginia, British America. "He later moved to Stafford Co. Va. On 26 Sep 1689 William Fitzhugh leased 50 acres farm ground to Stephen Sebastian which once was owned by James Ashton. The lease names Stephen's wife as Elizabeth and a son named Stephen."
This must be the son if his father died in 1680, but there is no evidence of his father's death date.2 |
Residence | 1713 | In Richmond County, Virginia, British America. Stephen Sebastian is noted in Sem Cox's 1713 Inventory, St. Maries Parish, Richmond County, Virginia.3 |

Elizabeth Henson
F, #3741, b. 1678, d. 12 October 1734
Familysearch has her as Elizabeth Stickle but no parents.
Also called Elizabeth Parker. But the Parker parents lived and died in Massachusetts and the trees have no real evidence of anything AND Elizabeth born in Virginia.
I see an Elizabeth Stickle wife of a Stephen Sebastian the father of someone born in 1945!!!

Scott Joseph, different one so makes 3 matches |
Misc | | Elizabeth. Note, both Stephen Sebastian born 1652 and his son Stephen Sebastian born 1674 are listed as having wives named Elizabeth.
Re the Henson, we really don't know if this is real or a husband or... Also, the Henson/Hinson may have been in Maryland, BUT ALSO I see Stafford County. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Hinson-1268
This one is sometimes called Elizabeth Stickle and sometimes Elizabeth Goodloe Hinson and Elizabeth Parker (Massachusetts person) but I see absolutely no evidence for any.
NB The Stephen Sebastian who married Elizabeth Sickle fathered a child who was married in 1945! |
Misc | | Parents - unknown DNA Joseph Hinson. Scott has 1 DNA match with Joseph Hinson and Margaret Elizabeth Hoyle

Elinor
F, #3742, d. 1754
Marriage | about 17001,2 | |
Death | 1754 | |
Misc | | Her children.1 |
Misc | | Her maiden name. It could be Ormsby. Captain Richard Haynie married Elinor (unknown last name), according to AHL, as his second wife. According to the same source, Elinor Ormsby was one of the headrights in a land patent of Richard Haynie, and he had a son named Ormsby. It is on that basis that Elinor's last name has been given as Ormsby.
AHL is W. Preston Haynie, "A Haynie Line 1624 - 1990" (1989 - published by HS Printing & Stationary, Inc., P.O. Box 337, White Stone, Virginia 22578).3 |
Probate | 1754 | .1 |
