I believe John Harvey belongs to John Spencer whose wife is Lydia... BUT WAIT, Our Ann is called Nancy Lydia.
Also, I've seen his name as John Henry Spencer.

Comment on an online thread (it got no answer):
I am supposedly a descendant of 2.vii John Spencer.I have confirmed via the NC Marriage Index his marriage to Martha Gray on 22 Aug. 1827 in Surry County, NC.John vanishes from the NC census records in 1840 where Martha is listed as head of household with 8 children. So I would like to know your source for John moving to Kentucky and marrying Nancy Ann Crowley in 1834.

James Fletcher, Jr.
M, #1572, b. 1758, d. 1845
James Fletcher, Jr. was born in 1758 in Culpeper County, Virginia, the son of James and Susannah Fletcher who reportedly came to the United States from Cumberland, England. His parents are said to have died in North Carolina. James Fletcher married Mary Smoot.
James Fletcher was a soldier in the Revolutionary War from Virginia. He is listed on the U. S. Pension Roll of 1835 as a private from Virginia. By at least 1835, James Fletcher, Jr. and his family had moved to Missouri.
The James Fletcher family was later known to be living in what is now Adair County, Missouri, on a farm near what was later the town of Yarrow, Missouri, not far from the Chariton River. In the 1840 census of Goshen Township, Macon County, Missouri, James Fletcher is listed as age 83, a veteran of the Revolutionary War.

No direct evidence of who her parents are. Many trees have her born around the time she got married (which is documented). Many trees also confuse Spicer family members in Virginia with records from Spicer family members in Connecticut, marriages in England, etc. |
