MiscDNA Matches - confusing. 20/21/2024 DNA on Sarah Ellen Spencer
Scott - almost 20 matches. Robert, William, John?, Helen?, Joshua?
William I have as William Nathan, my ancestor.
Robert 1 Elizabeth only
John 11 matches
All the ones I checked are Elizabeth ONLY!
Judy has some too, but most William/Nathan.
1 Elizabeth only, several more recent CA

7/15/2024 Judy's DNA on Dessie - 0 matches with Robert Chapman

7/15/2024 Scott's DNA on Dessie - 0 matches with Robert Chapman
Who are William, John, Helen and Joshua!? called half. Some of these kids were born after Elizabeth Taylor is supposed to have died but actually we don't know when she died. All ONLY Elizabeth Taylor even though all last names are Chapman! A MYSTERY!

6/29/2024 Scott's DNA as Dessie Anderson
16 matches to "Elizabeth Taylor" and 0 matches to Robert Chapman!
The ones I checked are only the mother. They are called half.
William b1743? 4 matches, John b1747 10 matches, Helen b1753 1 match, Joshua b1755 1 match
These are children of the other wife and no one knows it.
Plus a William from Connecticut. Does that mean the Chapmans in Connecticut are related?
Our Nathan may be William Nathan... or people think so.
People keep mixing the Connecticut ones. I saw a tree with our Nathan born in Connecticut of parents born and raised and died in maryland. Somehow Nathan got to maryland magically.

Looking at Judy's DNA matches
if you look into William you get people who have put him in Connecticut. Why is he related to us?
Another William gives us CA of Thomas Kimsey and Martha Morris and one with Elizabeth Taylor.
BUT being males, their last name is CHAPMAN!
John should not a child of Elizabeth, but that is based on trees. He is a child of the next wife. Half is correct.
No one knows about the other wife, so John belongs to Elizabeth in the trees and called half, which they are. BUT there are still issues

Robert gets no matches, but none of the Elizabeth matches are with Robert Chapman EXCEPT ours, which are called half.

Judy's matches are similar. The children have a Chapman last name but only match with "Elizabeth Taylor". Of course the NAME is not proven, just that these children are associated with one woman all with the last name Chapman. And they are called half.

Is this a tree problem on my part or everyone else's or ???
MiscTwo Elizabeth Taylor... The Elizabeth Taylor dau of Jonathan and Margaret married a John Sellman and had children and he did not die young. Everybody agrees on his (at least approximate) death date but I see no evidence for it.

Elizabeth stopped having children with him in time to marry our Chapman and have more children. That part makes sense. Divorce was unusual...
