MiscKlamm Park. Klamm Park in KC Kansas was named after the Christopher Klamm branch of the family that had moved south from Platte Co. Mo., to Wyandotte County in 1869. Peter, the eldest of 10 children, a bachelor, died about 1910 and his 32-acre portion of the estate was given as a gift to the city of Kansas City, KS, with the stipulation that it bear the family name. In 1922 a modern swimming pool was opened at the park, shown below in a July 1922 newspaper clipping, one of the nicest pools in the entire KC area at that time.

MiscParents - unsure! Early Colonial Settlers has Rebecca the daughter of Samuel Griffith marrying Notley Thomas.
MiscWho is she? A Rebecca Griffith, born 1729, married Notley Thomas, who died in Nov 1767. She could be the same person who married Nathan Chapman. But if she died in 1827 as we are told Nathan's wife did, she would have been 98. The Rebecca Griffin who married Notley Thomas is said to have died 13 Oct 1810 (Early Colonial Settlers).

Need to find a later born Rebecca Griffith? The grandfather of the other Rebecca Griffith had mostly girls.

OR the Rebecca who married Notley Thomas was a daughter of Samuel's first wife Sarah Evans. Rebecca is a family name - his father named a daughter Rebecca.
