Margaretha Anna Klamm

Story from findagrave.

Margaretha Anna Klamm Evers was the daughter of Georg Martin and Susanna Groh Klamm. She was the wife of Heinrich Johann Evers. They were the parents of Helena A. Evers Schroeder, Mary Anna Margaretha Evers Dege and Elizabeth Wilhelmina Evers Dege.

She, her widowed mother, and at least two brothers and a sister arrived in New Orleans from Rheingönheim in Bavaria, Germany, via France. They disembarked the ship South Carolina on October 24, 1843. They eventually emigrated to Clay County, Missouri, and part of the family were among the first settlers of Parkville in Platte County. There is a Klamm Park in Kansas City, Kansas, named for her brother's family.
