There is a German record that appears to say he was born in 1840 not 1841 (which see). There is another Louis Peter Klamm who immigrated from Hamburg in 1866. He is confused with our Peter Klamm, apparently. Not sure this person has a Louis. The German birth record in Rheingoheim calls him^1,2,3
