Johann Michael Klamm
M, #279, b. 12 March 1780, d. 23 November 1844
Who is John William Klamm b 1871 that is on findagrave as a child of John Klamm born 1821?
There is a birth record for a Johann Philipp Klamm in Germany but no date, no image. This could be the one we call John Sr. or another child... The Phlipp child may be bogus.

Birth | 17 October 1782 | In Rheingönheim, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. The (French) marriage record needs to be translated! Burns she received this morning when her clothing caught fire from an oil stove caused the death early this afternoon of Mrs. Phillip Klamm, wife of a wealthy pioneer farmer, north of Parkville, MO. Mrs. Klamm died at the home of her son-in-law, Albert J. Brenner, at Brenner Station, on the St. Joseph Interurban line. She had been called there by illness. Mrs. Klamm was carrying the stove downstairs preparatory to getting breakfast. The flames flared up and enveloped her. Her entire body was burned. Dr. Moses T. Birth | 23 March 1796 | In Mutterstadt, Mutterstadt, Ludwigshafen, Pfalz, Bayern, Germany.1,2 |

Death | before 1843 | One never knows if they died before the trip or on the ship. Germany is pretty good about records if she died before...
However, I see a death date of 12 March 1837, Pfalz, Bavaria, Germany but no sources for it. |
Misc | | Parents: Philipp Heinrich Bekker and Maria Franziska Renner. NOTE her mother's name in one transcription of the baptismal records is Maria Friederika, which makes a lot more sense in Germany... Even if it is near the border...

It has how old she was but I can't read it. The record has his wife as Bertha McPherson who married him after he died... She is probably the wife of his son Charles if you look at her findagrave entry. He married Anna Catherine Bollinger 1829-1885.
