Anna Elisabetha Hoffmann

F, #236, b. 16 November 1760, d. 18 December 1835
There is a Anna Elisabetha Hoffman who marries Johann Martin Brenner (record here). Her father is Johann Philipp Hofmann (no record image)

I have no birth or death record for an Anna Elisabetha Hoffman.

BUT a Maria Elisabetha Hoffman is also married to a Johann Martin Brenner, within the same timeframe.

Maria Elisabetha Hoffman records
child Apollonia father Johann Martin Brenner

Maria Elisabetha Hoffman christening record says her father is Johann Ludwig Hoffman and mother Anna Barbara. Different father!

This means there are probably two people AND our birth and death dates are incorrect.

An Elizabetha Hoffman has a child Margaretha Brenner b 4 Feb 1793 Minfield with Martin Brenner

A Maria Elisabetha Hoffman has a child Sussanna Margaretha Brenner with a Martin Brenner b 4 Feb 1793

Anna Elisabetha has a child Johannes with Johann Martin Brenner
Anna Elisabetha has a child Jacob Brenner with Joh. Martin Brenner
It is summarized here:
https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/research-help/LZXM-D54?cid=partner-JBY5-529V-X2TQ-762Y-B8FY-WYB8-NC7L-DPBQ&access_token=eae2548c-9f6a-439c-a177-0162ed2e64e1-prod

Note also with our dates, Johann Martin is 24 years older than Anna Elisabetha (but we don't actually have a birth record for an Anna, only a Maria.)

Philip Lewis Brenner

M, #241, b. 8 June 1892, d. 15 May 1936
This is a memory found on familysearch.org for Rose Schwarz

Rose was the oldest daughter of Arnold and Katie. She attended Westport High School and graduated as Valedictorian of her class. She married Philip Brenner who was a progressive young farmer. They build their homestead on the edge of the Missouri Bluffs. There they overlooked their farmland in the fertile bottom between Harlem and Parkville. For his bride, Phillip had made ready an eight room modern home across the road from his parents. In this home their three children (Curtis, Warren and Betty) were born.
Phillip farmed extensively and at the time of his tragic death in 1936 was operating a dairy. Rose, being strong of body and character, carried on with the farm operation.
A year or more after Phillip's death, a life-time friend, neighbor and Church member named Ferdinand (Ferd) Filger, lost his wife, Lillian. He was left with five children (Ferd, Jr., Ralph, Louise, Johnnie and Ruth). In time Rose and Ferd were married. Rose proved to be a very efficient homemaker for their eight children, plus being very active in St.Mattew's Church, Brenner Ridge School, Eastern Star Lodge and an active political worker for the Republican party.
Ferd's sons answered the call to duty in World War 2. Now they all continue to live in the area. Louise lives in Honduras. She went there to teach and do Mission work. While there, she married a native Honduran and raised a family.

Death4 May 1951At age 79 at State Hospital #2 in St. Joseph, Buchanan, Missouri, United States. Bertha Klamm was born the daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Catherine Klamm on February 11, 1872 in Missouri, possibly in Platte County.

She had several siblings: Susan E born about 1867; Mary born about 1869; Eva C born about 1871; William bon about 1871 (twin with Eva?); and Edward born about 1878; Edwin bon about February 1879; Henry born about Oct 1882; Emma born Nov 1884; Peter born in March 1897; and Elina/Elma born March 1891.

On June 5, 1895, Bertha L Klamm and Albert Thorp were married in Jackson County, Missouri.

By the 1900 Federal Census, Albert and Bertha Thorp had two children: Jacob aged 5 and Lottie aged 2. They were living on a farm in Pettis, Platte County, Missouri.

In the 1910 Federal Census, Albert Thorp and his children Jacob aged 13; Lottie aged 12 and Thomas aged 9 were living on their farm in Pettis, Platte County, Missouri. Albert Thorp was listed as a widower.

But that wasn't so. From 1910 – 1930, in the Federal censuses, Bertha Thorp was a patient at State Hospital Number 2, in St Joseph, Missouri. Actually, she was a patient at that hospital until her death on Mary 4, 1951.1

Peter William Klamm

M, #250, b. 23 November 1851 or 1852, d. 7 January 1922
PETER W. KLAMM
(Farmer and Stock-raiser, Post-office, Parkville).
Among the younger and rising agriculturists of Pettis township we can not fail to mention the name of Mr. Klamm, for already he has reached a position which many other men, and men of greater experience, might well envy. He has lived all his life in this vicinity, having been born in Clay county, Mo., in November, 1852, and is of German ancestry. His father, John Klamm, and also his mother, formerly Eva Catherine Groh, were natives of Germany, but in 1844 emigrated with their family to the United States, locating in Clay county, this State, near the line separating it from Platte county, and at a point some five miles north of Kansas City. Here Mr. Klamm, Sr., purchased a farm, on which he remained until 1880, then coming to this county, which he has since made his home. Peter was a diligent student in the common schools while growing up, and during his spare moments he worked at the occupation which he is now so successfully following. In 1877, upon coming to Platte county, he bought land, and in 1882 he came to his present place. His first purchase embraced 140 acres, to which he has added another tract of 160 acres. This land is all under fence, and the improvements are all of a good class. His home place is a model of neatness. February 27, 1877, he was married in Clay county to Miss Mary L. Eckert, a sketch of whose father, George Eckert, appears just before this. They have two children—George P. and Virginia. Mr. Klamm and wife are connected with the German Evangelical Church.
