Birth22 September 1817In Rheingönheim. I've seen two dates: 22 Sep 1817 and 23 Sep 1817. His marriage record says 23 Sept 1817, his baptismal record says 22 Sept 1817.

I can't read the date on the record. 2? Sep 1817

The name is written Klam with a bar over the m. That means the letter is doubled.1

ResidenceJuly 1860Parkville in Pettis, Platte, Missouri, United States. Not all of the listed children are here and two names are confusing... Apparently Patton is Theodore, from later census... There is also another child on the immigration list, a female.

MiscPlatte Woods. Shortly before his death in 1927, Phillip Klamm contracted with Kansas City Power & Light to supply electricity to the area. An easement was granted through the City to enable electric lines to be run to Platte City. In 1930, the Estate of Phillip Klamm sold 250 acres to Ernie Thompson.

The Platte Woods Improvement Association (PWIA) was chartered in 1938 and governed until the area was incorporated as a village on December 5, 1946. In 1954, the village was incorporated as a Fourth Class City. Herrick Hall was elected as the City’s first Mayor.

Platte Woods was the first residential development, carved from the Phillip Klamm farm by E. C. Thompson in 1930. An old rock house, in which the first white child was born in Platte County, was included in the development, now remodeled into a spacious home by Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Imeson.
