MiscWilliam and Samuel Sharp. Also, this Samuel Sharpe below is probably this one in the Jamestown Society list:
Sharp/Sharpe, Samuel - A7009; Charles City: 1619 (Burgess), Flowerdieu Hundred: 1624 (Burgess)

But remember, THIS Samuel Sharpe was born around or before 1600 so is not the child of William.

familysearch has this:

William Sharpe should not be confused with Samuel Sharpe, another early Virginia colonist, soldier, and ancient planter who settled in Charles City, Virginia and was a burgess in the first general assembly of the Virginia House of Burgesses in 1619 with whom he is sometimes erroneously conflated.

He was a ancient planter, and a shareholder in the Virginia Company. He came to Virginia on the Starr in May 1611

MiscFather of Matthew Gooch? This seems quite imaginary. The tree in The history and antiquities of the county of Suffolk: with genealogical and architectural notices of its several towns and villages does not have a Matthew son of William, nor is there any connection. The only "evidence" is something the Branch family wrote about Elizabeth who married Thomas Branch. In fact, William Branch it appears had no heirs and his property reverted to the state.2
